Leadership Under the Microscope

Leading in Crisis

This series convenes conversations with leaders about the challenges of leadership in an interconnected world in crisis. The COVID pandemic created unique problems and forced leaders to rethink almost everything.  We talk with leaders from different sectors and examine the pitfalls, priorities, parameters, and pragmatism of being a leader in times of crisis. The objective is to provide examples of exemplary leaders by listening to how they think and distilling their experiences into learnable lessons for transformational and emerging leaders.

Our first leader is Denise Rehg, Executive Director of the Columbus Symphony Orchestra. She speaks with J.R. about how she led the Symphony though the Pandemic.

Continuing through next week we will be releasing some advice she gives on leadership and the full conversation will be released on July 9th 2021.
