The Columbus, Ohio based social impact firm, J.R. Global, will be hosting a reception at the Columbus Museum of Art on Thursday, May 16 presenting Asaf Ron, Director of Beit Ha’Gefen.
Beit Ha’Gefen is an Arab Jewish Cultural Center in Haifa, Israel. Mr Ron will be visiting Columbus to build collaborations around their mission. The non-profit organization fosters intercultural dialogue designed to establish common ground and shared spaces. The center is a key player in instilling an intercultural attitude and constructing a shared society. It is active in the fields of culture, art, education, and tourism. It makes use of its art gallery, theater hall, music and theater companies, library, youth center, and visitor's center to reach out to groups with varied cultural identities nurturing the value of respect for people and strives to promote acceptance of diverse cultures.
